I’m Luke, the photographer behind Sonoma Light. Formerly known as Luke Snyder Studio, Sonoma Light has been creating professional imagery for over two decades. Based in Wine Country, I work with couples and families throughout Sonoma and Napa, and I’m available for travel throughout California and beyond.

Clients often describe the experience as fun, creative, efficient, and deeply personal. More than anything, they share that they felt comfortable, present, and genuinely seen.

I know when to stay quietly observant and when to confidently step in. Most moments are captured through a documentary approach with thoughtful guidance, allowing things to unfold naturally. When structure or momentum is needed, I gather, direct, and keep the day moving with ease.

My goal is for people to feel at ease in front of the camera and for the images to hold attention long after. I create photographs that invite the eye to slow down, wander, and discover. Images layered with connection, movement, and emotion that feel honest rather than staged.
