I am an artist, beekeeper, teacher, parent, and permaculturalist based in Sonoma County with a formal background in geography and education. I have always enjoyed releasing my creative, and I carry enormous pride in making art a real subject and profession. I learned on film in college, where the cost of every shot taught me to slow down and think before smashing the shutter. When digital arrived and film became unlimited, I kept experimenting, refining my eye for composition, light, and the art of making people feel comfortable in front of a lens.
After over 300 weddings, I am still drawn to making images where motion, emotion, and light come together to tell a story.
I love being a source of joy, not just on the day, but long after, when someone pulls up a photo and feels it all over again.
When I am not behind the camera or editing afterward, I am likely in my backyard, growing more food, foraging, hiking or biking up hills, playing ukulele, chauffeuring my teenager, or savoring the simple pleasures of life in the heart of wine country.
I look forward to connecting with you.
